I have been fortunate to have Jay Condie build not one, but two, houses for me. I bought a house Jay built, then I moved away from Chapel Hill. Years later when I returned to the area, I knew there was only one person I wanted to build my dream house - and that was Jay, of course.

First and most important - with Jay, I know the job will be done right. He does great work. Jay is professional, responsive, meets his commitments, and manages all the contractors like a maestro. And the icing on the cake is that it is a sheer pleasure to work with Jay. You will like him as a person as much as you like him as a building professional. I loved working with Jay - building that house was the most fun thing I ever did in my life...largely because of Jay and the way he ran the construction process.

The quality of the house is spectacular. I rest easy knowing my house is well built and I don't have to worry about poor workmanship. But Jay can't build a house by himself - he needs a lot of other people, and all of them need to do good work. Jay uses great subcontractors from start to finish - framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, tile work, flooring...and everything is done well. Most of the subcontractors were the same ones who built both of my houses - ten years apart. That also made me feel good, knowing that experienced, reputable subs were responsible for my house construction.

Jay is completely trustworthy and can be counted on to deliver a big or small project as well as it can be done. You will never regret using Jay Condie to build your house, and if it's anything like my experiences with him, it will be fun from start to finish. I was sad when it was over.

Jay and his team not only do great work - but best of all, they are simply great people. I would love to build another house with Jay and would go to him in a second if I ever leave this house. I wish you good luck in your exciting building project!
